About Amit Goswami PhD

Theoretical quantum physicist Dr Amit Goswami is Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Oregon's Institute of Theoretical Science. His theory of Quantum Physics explodes the traditional materialist view of the world – that matter forms the basis of all things – instead proving that consciousness is the foundation of all being.

This radical shift in thinking offers a scientifically verifiable explanation for the spiritual dimension of life, while promising a means of addressing many of the problems of our modern world.

Quantum Activism is the idea of changing ourselves and our societies in accordance with the principles of Quantum Physics. It seeks to transform our thinking from the currently dominant materialist view of the world, where things are explained in terms of their matter, to one based on the primacy of consciousness.

It sees the individual as being connected with others, and with the wider community, through consciousness. For this reason Quantum Activism proposes that personal transformation go hand-in-hand with societal change for the better, and indeed that this is necessary for any meaningful progress to be made.
